Terms of Service
Effective date: April 25, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website at ailawsofpower.com, the After the Build free resource, the AI Power Laws course, and all related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by AI Laws of Power (“we,” “our,” or “us”).
By accessing the Service, submitting your email address, or creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Free Resource
After the Build is a complimentary strategic brief delivered to your email address. By submitting your email to receive it, you also agree to receive the AI Power Briefing newsletter and related communications from AI Laws of Power via Kit (ConvertKit).
You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by emailing privacy@ailawsofpower.com. Unsubscribing does not delete your account if one was created.
3. Member Accounts
Submitting your email on the landing page creates a member account. You will receive a magic link to set a password and access the member portal. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must provide an accurate email address. Accounts may not be shared, transferred, or used by more than one individual.
4. Paid Access
Certain content and features require a paid subscription or one-time purchase. All payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are displayed at checkout and are in US dollars unless otherwise stated.
- —Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- —You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Account Settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued for unused time.
- —We reserve the right to change prices with 30 days’ notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new price.
- —All sales are final except where required by applicable law.
5. Intellectual Property
All course content, briefs, frameworks, written materials, and visual assets are the exclusive property of AI Laws of Power and are protected by copyright. Your purchase or account grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to access and use the content for your own learning purposes only.
You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, create derivative works from, or resell any part of the content without our prior written consent. This includes sharing login credentials, screen-recording lessons, or redistributing materials to third parties.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- —Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
- —Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
- —Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract content from the Service by automated means.
- —Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
- —Transmit any content that is harassing, defamatory, or infringes the rights of others.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service and all content within it are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
The frameworks, analyses, and strategic content provided through the Service are for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing in the Service constitutes legal, financial, or business advice. Results vary and are not guaranteed.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AI Laws of Power and its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) US $50.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AI Laws of Power from any claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to access paid content ceases immediately. If termination is initiated by us without cause, we will refund a pro-rated portion of any prepaid subscription fees.
You may close your account at any time from your Account Settings page.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
